Waste Manager

 

H.H and D.E Drew is a family owned business which prides itself in providing a quality level of service to the local community. We have sites located in South Hampshire and East Dorset supplying a range of aggregates, concrete, recycling and building materials.

We trade under the name of NMS, Roffey’s and Hibbs all part of the NMS Group.

Following recent changes within the business and with a focus on growth and diversification, we have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for the waste and recycling part of the business within the NMS Group.  You will work alongside and with the senior management team reporting to the Group Operations Director.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge and experience in waste processing, recycling and composting.
  • Experience in ISO Management systems (EMS 14001).
  • Experience in budgeting costs to meet targets and KPI’s.
  • Strong and clear communicator.
  • Ability to manage a multi-level, diverse team
  • WAMITAB, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for safety and operational performance at our recycling site providing credible leadership and development for staff.
  • Ensure a high level of health, safety and environmental standards are in place and adhered to.
  • Assure legal compliance and nurture relations with relevant third parties.
  • Build and manage teams to maximise productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • To maintain site and plant maintenance and find solutions where necessary

The ideal person should be highly ambitions, confident and proactive.  You will be expected to have an eye for detail, be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery, excellent IT skills, excellent communication skills, interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills.

 

Salary determined on individual experience and aptitude.

Marketing and Communication Executive

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communication Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing within the NMS Group.  You will work alongside and with the senior management team reporting to the Managing Director.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in marketing
  • Knowledge and experience to manage, review and maintain website activity
  • Experience in running Campaigns, Corporate events including charities.
  • Experience in marketing and branding.
  • Knowledge and experience in Google products (Analytics, Adwords etc).
  • Good analytical skills
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices on online marketing

The ideal Marketing and Communication Executive should be highly ambitions, confident and proactive.  You will be expected to have an eye for detail, be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery, excellent IT skills, excellent communication skills, interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills.

Admin Receptionist

 

We are currently looking for an Admin Receptionist to join the HR team at our Head Office in New Milton. Your duties and responsibilities will include

  • Meet and greet for visitors and Customers.
  • Admin of manual tickets on the sales system.
  • Admin papers and general duties.
  • Maintain databases.
  • Assist with HR admin.
  • Post duties.
  • Ordering of supplies for all departments of the business.
  • PA duties to the directors.

Able to use Microsoft outlook and Microsoft packages.

This is a fulltime permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.  This may suit someone with reception experience or a person straight from fulltime education.  You will be fully trained for the position.

We are ideally looking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate high standards of receptionist and administrative skills.
